Hello everyone,

this is part 2 of the Tutorial about How to photograph deep space objects here is Part 1 link , in part 2 we will be talking about the program Deep Sky Stacker.

What is DeepSkyStacker?

DeepSkyStacker is a freeware for astrophotographers that simplifies all the pre-processing steps of deep sky pictures. more info visit Deep Sky Stacker.

let’s start

1-At the beginning we have to upload our light frames that we took in Deep Sky Stacker as in the picture below.

2- The second step we upload the dark frames

3- the third step we add the flat frames

4- the fourth step we add the bias frame

5- the fifth step we click on Check All then Stack Checked Pictures

6- After we are done we save our image by choosing Save picture to file

NOTE: pictures that are viewed in the Deep Sky Stacker will be different in Photoshop, it will be darker and you will have to process it by using Levels in Photoshop.
