Astrophotography Rosette Nebula C49

Right click on image > View Image

It was difficult for me to capture this nebula because its consist of hydrogen and my gear isn’t IR gear.

I took this image using canon 50D, and 70-200mm F/4 IS USM piggy backed on my Celestron 8″ SE.

8 light frames @ 60sec iso 3200, F/4

8 dark frames, 8 bias frames, 8 flat frames

كان من الصعب جداً تصوير هذا السديم لآنه يتكون من الهايدروجين و العده المطلوبه لتصوير هذا النوع من السدم يجب ان تلتقط الاشاعه التحت الحمراء، و للأسف عدتي لا تلتقط الاشاعه التحت الحمراء بما فيه الكفايه، واجهت بعض المشاكل ولاكن الحمدلله بعد عناء توصلت الى الحل الذي ساعدني على اظهار التفاصيل الموجوده في الصوره. استخدمت في تصوير هذا السديم كانون ٥٠ دي و العدسه ٧٠-٢٠٠ و قمت بتركيبهم فوق التلسكوب لتفادي حركه النجوم الاعدادات

Milky way over RAK

During my last trip to Jabal Mebreh in Ras Al Khaimah. I was testing how would the milky way appear over the light pollution of the city. well, it did appear as we can see in the photograph. Its an amazing place for a clear sky, but yet not the darkest in UAE.

this post will be under General Posts category .. I will be adding more posts about random stuff such as under water, astronomy etc..

في آخر رحلة قمت بها الى جبل مبرح في رأس الخيمه. قمت بتجربه بسيطه لمعرفه هل من الممكن ان نرى درب التبانه فوق المدينه؟ او فوق التلوث الضوئي الصادر من المدينه؟ الجواب نعم !. المكان ممتاز من ناحيه وضوح السماء لاكن ليس الاشد ظلمه حتى الآن. سوف اقوم في الفترات القادمه ان شاء الله بكتابه المزيد من المواضيع العامه التي تفيد الجميع. المواضيع لن تندرج فقط في الفلك، بل ستشمل كل ماهو جديد.

Sagittarius star cloud

After a long time of planning and researching. I finally witnessed the most visible part of the milky way in my region. the most interesting part was the Sagittarius star cloud. the most difficult part was to find a good location and how would the weather condition be. after driving more than 150km away from the city and choosing the best spot possible. I waited 2 hours until the milky way appeared above the mountain. I will be adding in this post a time lapse video of the milky way appearing above the mountain. The Temperature was a bit high, it was 37C at night with humid.

بعد طول انتظار اخيرا شهدت قلب مجرتنا مجره درب التبانه و كان الشعور لا يوصف. و اجمل شي كان برج القوس و الساحبه النجوم في برج القوس و عدد من السدم. واجهتني عده مشاكل منها اختيار المكان المناسب و حاله الطقس. بعد قطع مسافه ١٥٠ كيلو تقريبا لأظلم مكان ممكن ان اجد. جلست اكثر من ساعتين انتظر ظهور المجره فوق الجبال و الحمدلله توفقت في هذا. كان الجو حار و رطب و كانت درجه الحراره تقريبا ٣٧ عند منتصف الليل. استخدمت في التقاط هذه الصوره.

في هذا الدرس سوف اتكلم عن كيفيه تصوير مسارات النجوم

مسارات النجوم تتشكل نتيجه دوران الكره الارضيه. النتائج تختلف لأسباب عده منها ظلمه المنطقه و اتجاه التصوير. عندما يكون التصوير باتجاه الشمال تقريبا على النجم الشمالي ( بولارس ) مسارات النجوم تكون بالشكل الدائري هذه صوره مأخذوه من موقع صور اليوم التابع لناسا

ظلمة السماء في الإمارات

السلام عليكم

في هذا الموضوع سوف اكتب عن ٤ اماكن ظلمة في الإمارات مع ارفاق بعض الصور و احداثيات الأماكن و النتائج. بالتأكيد سوف يكون هناك فرق كبير من ناحيه التلوث الضوئي في المدينه و الاماكن الجبلية

المكان الاول هي منطقة الفايه التابعه لإماره الشارقه. من ايجابيات منقطة الفايه: انها شبه قريبة من مدينة دبي و من ممكن ان نشاهد سدم و مجرات بمقاييس توصل الى الدرجة ٨

من سلبيات المنطقة: المكان مفتوح و تأثير الرياح يكون سلبي

Review: Dark Skies in UAE

Hello everyone,

Today I will be talking about 4 locations that I visited and I consider them the darkest 4 locations in UAE.

Below, I will post the results for each location some are wide field results and the others are deep space results.

Of course, there will be a huge difference between the light pollution in the city and between the mountains.

First I will be talking about the advantages and disadvantages of Al Fayyah Desert located at Sharjah.

Advantages – not too far from Dubai, dark enough to see till 8 magnitude objects.

Disadvantages – opened place, it can be windy easily.

Astrophotography: Messier 3, M 3 or NGC 5272

Messier 3 ( M 3 ) or NGC 5272 is a globular Cluster in the Constellation Canes Venatici and it was discorvered by Charless Messier in 1764. for more information click here

I took this image using Celestron 8SE , Celestron Focal Reducer / Corrector F 6.3, and Canon 50D unmodified.

It was a difficult since I had to deal with the light pollution and humidity while the mount wasn’t working properly. The maximum exposure was 30sec and I took total of 15 exposure 14 of them were shacked which means I couldn’t stack any lol.

The settings are 30sec, Iso 2500, F6.3.

التكتلات او التجمعات النجمية هي مجموعة من النجوم تتجمع وتدور في نطاق او حيز ضيق جدا حول مركز ذو جاذبية عالية جدا مما يشكل صورة رائعة لها للمزيد اضغط هنا.

صورت هالصوره بستخدام العده التاليه Celestron 8SE , Celestron Focal Reducer / Corrector F 6.3, and Canon 50D.

واجهت صعوبات عده اثناء التصوير منها التلوث الضوئي و الرطوبه و العده لم تكن بالمستوى المطلوب، و اكثر تعريض اخذته كان ٣٠ ثانيه من اصل ١٥ صوره ١٤ صوره مهزوزه فلم استطع دمجهم و اضطررت لمعاجه صوره واحده فقط.
